Slow Down Everyone You’re Moving Too Fast…
(Points for anyone who knows what song that’s from..
)
So, Spring Break 2011 (aka, last one EVER!) has officially come to a close! Totally bummed that it’s over but so, so, SO thankful for a great week. It was exactly what I needed! It was the perfect mix of relaxation, partying, SHOPPING, goofing around, and FUN.
I know I’ve said it multiple times but seriously—I have the two best friends in the entire world. And getting to spend an entire week with them without worrying about school was fannnnntastic.
People around school tend to call us the “clique” but I guess it’s kind of true. ![]()
A few highlights of our trip include getting lost on the way to the airport (seriously mapquest—WTF was that?!), LAZER TAG AND GO KARTS (!!!), bar hopping in Knoxville, getting acquainted with the local wildlife
, movie night (127 Hours is SO good!), the longest UNO game everrrr (cheaters!), watching my Cards play in the Big East tournament (sad they lost in the finals though!), spending time with my sorority sisters, and all of the fun non-mentionable events that occurred. ![]()
I daresay this comes pretty damn close to the last great spring break trip I had—Ireland!
Now for some pictures!
Needless to say, a fun time was had by all. ![]()
Now unfortunately it’s back to the real world and the realization that I’ll be graduating in 7 weeks! This week is going to be a HECTIC one to say the least! I’ve got my first job fair on Wednesday (wish me luck!!!), lots of meetings to attend to, getting my cap and gown (!!!!!!), and my BIG board meeting on Friday! (I have to give a formal presentation in front of the chancellor, leading college officials, and some pretttttty important people from around the state of Virginia… crazy!)
Oh and St. Patrick’s Day………..
But for now, I’m off to go enjoy one last spring break moment with some of my friends. We’re all going to see Red Riding Hood! It’s been AGES since I’ve seen a movie in an actual theater! I’m usually too busy! Let’s hope it’s a good one!
For those of you who already experienced spring break—I hope you had a great one! And for those of you who will be celebrating in the upcoming weeks—HAVE FUN!
Until next time…
