My Friday Five.

January 28, 2011

Annnnd just like that I’m actually doing a continuing series! I can’t lie, I’m KIND of a commitment-phobe but I could get use to this. Winking smile If you missed last week’s, you can check it out here. And if you’re confused about what exactly Five Things Friday is… (don’t worry, I was too at first—my life tends to go in that direction)… it’s a chance for me to discuss my favorite (sometimes not-so-favorite) things/events/people from the past week. Get it?

So what’s on tap for this week?

Here we go….

1. Valentine’s Day Candy! We all know that I’m a chocolate FANATIC. Like, I’m pretttttty sure one day I’ll be sent to rehab. But seriously. When Butterfingers are in the shape of a heart, they taste THAT much better. Now if I can only find red & white pretzel M&M’s…. Oh and maybe a boy to give them to me? Winking smile

2. Speaking of boys..err, men, next on this list is Joey—the trainer from this week’s “I Use to Be Fat”. Hello. I don’t think I need to go into any explanation for this one. The picture says it alllllll.

Obviously he’s the one on the left. Flirt male He’s fit, he has tattoos, he’s funny, and he rides a motorcycle—I’m sold.

3. My new planner. It’s coming along QUITE nicely if I do say so myself.

4. Discovering old songs! Hello, “Lala” by Ashlee Simpson—I’ve been wondering where you’ve been hiding all of this time! It’s funny how a certain song can take you back to a particular memory. For instance, when I listen to this song, I’m automatically taken back to my sophomore year of high school during a summer softball trip. We went to Tennessee for a week long tournament and listened to this CONSTANTLY! So much fun. Smile

Do you have any songs that take you back to a certain event or time in your life?!

5. This final one goes out to my sisters. We’re knee deep in recruitment and once again, they’ve proven just how fantastic they are. I was having a HORRIBLE day on Monday (literally probably had the most awkward 50 minutes of m life—perhaps I’ll go into detail some day Winking smile) and that night during our party, they completely turned my day around. I know people constantly bash sororities but you know what—I don’t think you can really knock it until you try it. I’ve got 25+ sisters who I know I can count on through thick and thin… and that’s something. In love

That’s it. Be prepared for next week’s five. They’re sure to be interesting I’ve dedicated next weeked as my unofficial Birthday weekend since it’s the following Monday.

Have a fannnnntastic weekend! Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do! Winking smile

I am LOVING your planner! Mine is so boring- the most color it has is a little highlighter action!

I’m having planner envy . . . every year when they go on sale I buy too many planners and this year I finally had to stop myself, because I just use my phone’s calendar. But this is making me reconsider . . .

Yeah, I’m definitely in LOVE with my planner. Every Sunday I go through and decorate it for the upcoming week and it’s like, the biggest stress reliever ever. 🙂 I’m starting to get more into using my phone’s calendar but… I still can’t get away from this yet. 🙂

I love your planner – it makes mine look so boring and sad! I definitely need to integrate some color into mine!
