Signs You’re Turning into a Blogger, Part I

January 13, 2011

1. When you wake up in the morning, before eating breakfast or even checking Facebook (*gasp*), you check your Google reader for updates. Always the best part of the day. Smile

2. Sitting in class, you daydream about a theme for your next post. And then subsequently write down your thoughts so you don’t forget them. Who needs class notes anyway?

3. You do whatever it takes to get “the shot”. You know what I’m talking about.

4. Sometimes you just have to ask, “What would Kath do?”

5. Before going on any kind of vacation or road trip, you look to your blogger friends (blends?) to see if there’s a chance you can meet up with a few of them.

How many of you can relate?!

In other news, this makes snow day #2 for me! This is almost unheard of but I’m certainly not complaining. Especially since with no classes on Friday, it’s now TECHNICALLY  my weekend. Open-mouthed smile Not a bad deal, eh?

The only downer? I’m suffering from an extreme case of cabin fever! So what’s a girl to do to combat it? Trek to the gym of course! Yesterday my neighbor and I bundled up and headed out to my college’s gym where I subsequently took one of the treadmills hostage for a good hour. And it was glorious. (This coming from someone who absolutely HATES running indoors!) I ended up running 20 minutes @ 6.1, walking 10 @ 4.0, running 15 @ 6.3, running 5 @ 7.0 (!!), and then cooling down for the last 10. It was a great workout and exactly what I needed. Before the workout I was feeling sluggish and lazy and afterwards I felt amaaaazing and so much more productive. Sometimes exercise is just good for your soul.

Today’s plan? A round of yoga (!) and perhaps a bit of retail therapy. Hey, we’ll be walking—that’s exercise too. Winking smile

What are you plans for today?! Anyone else stuck in the snow?

Alright, I’m off to do a few sun salutations or… something like that. Gotta learn that yoga lingo!

But I’ll leave you with a few of the pictures I ventured out for this morning to get that “perfect” shot. Winking smile (All of these snow pictures feel like a broken record!)

Cute post! I definitely am exhibiting some of those signs 🙂 Especially the one about thinking up posts in class and writing them down instead of notes. I can’t help where inspiration strikes!

I always get cabin fever after just one day of snow! I’m very impressed that you go out into the snow in shorts and boots for a picture. I think that’s reason #128043 that I don’t put pictures of food on my blog 🙂

yeah I totally agree about taking notes for future blog posts! it’s like a constant thought running through my head. And also agreeed with the fact that a little gym action can go along way to combat cabin fever! going to our local apartment gym now!
